Pat Jones, President

Pat Jones, current President of KAAC, Community Volunteer, retired historian and musuem administrator has been interested in and involved with the arts for most of her life.

Joan Elliott, Vice President

Joan Elliott has been making art her whole life.  Once she retired, she decided to invest her time and money in an art gallery.  She wanted to become more involved in the community and the Kirkwood Area Arts Council was a good fit.  www.argonnegallery.com

Paula Savarino, Treasurer

Paula Savarino, a native and life long resident of Kirkwood, has a degree in Art History and Design from St. Louis University and is presently employed at St. Louis Community College.

Sarah Erwin, Secretary

Sarah Erwin grew up in Kirkwood and is the Acting Director of the Kirkwood Public Library.  She joined the library in 2005 as the Director of Programs and Youth Services.

Board Members

Debbie Corson is a second generation native of Kirkwood who has been immersed in the arts her entire life.  She is currently owner/agent of ARTS-CORE Productions and is a visual artist and arts educator.  www.arts-core.com

Dave Endres  is a horticulturalist with his own business in Kirkwood where he has lived and worked his entire life.   Since the age of 9 he has been hooked on wood turning when he created a project with his dad on his grandfather’s lathe.   Currently President of the Wood Turners of St Louis and has been a member since 1998.

Linda Epp has been a Kirkwood resident for twelve years and is relatively new to the KAAC board.  She has degrees in Fashion and Interior Design and currently works in the field of stock market investment.  Personal belief: “There’s an artist in all of us.”

Nick Ohlman has been a Kirkwood resident for 35 years.  He currently works for the Kirkwood Parks Board 2003-2009 and was Vice President 2008-2009.   He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, with a BS Business Administration, Major, Accounting and Management.  Other jobs include registrar, St. Louis Art Museum 1987-1999, curator, Museum of Transportation, St. Louis County Parks and Recreation.  He and his wife, Kathy, have four children: Jennifer, Michael, Emily, and Allyssa.

Phyllis Ravensberg is the controller of a commercial construction business.  She has served the arts community by beginning the fund raising project for the Arts & Education Council titled “St Louis on Sale”.  She has served on various other community boards.  She lives in Kirkwood with her husband and children.

Patty Rooney, PhD, Art History/Visual Culture Studies is an instructor at St. Louis Community College and an active member in the Visual Arts Consortium of greater St. Louis.
