Pat Jones, President
Pat Jones, current President of KAAC, Community Volunteer, retired historian and musuem administrator has been interested in and involved with the arts for most of her life.
Joan Elliott, Vice President
Joan Elliott has been making art her whole life. Once she retired, she decided to invest her time and money in an art gallery. She wanted to become more involved in the community and the Kirkwood Area Arts Council was a good fit. www.argonnegallery.com
Phyllis Ravensberg, Treasurer
Phyllis Ravensberg is the controller of a commercial construction business. She has served the arts community by beginning the fund raising project for the Arts & Education Council titled “St Louis on Sale”. She has served on various other community boards. She lives in Kirkwood with her husband and children.
Linda Epp, Secretary
Linda Epp has been a Kirkwood resident since 1997. She has degrees in Fashion and Interior Design and currently works in the field of stock market investment. Personal belief: “There’s an artist in all of us.”
Board Members
Debbie Corson is a second generation native of Kirkwood who has been immersed in the arts her entire life. She has been an art teacher, arts administrator and teaching artist.
Dave Endres is a horticulturalist with his own business in Kirkwood where he has lived and worked his entire life. Since the age of 9 he has been hooked on wood turning when he created a project with his dad on his grandfather’s lathe. Currently President of the Wood Turners of St Louis and has been a member since 1998.
Mary Hanson is a self-employed artist/muralist/decorative painter who lives in Kirkwood with her husband and children. She is involved in the community and has always embraced the arts and everything related to it!
Jennifer Lin moved to Kirkwood in 2010 from Sacramento, CA. Previously, she has worked for performing and visual arts organizations in Sacramento, Washington, DC, Madison, WI, and Chicago, in marketing, public relations, social media, programming, artist residencies, and fundraising. She received her MA in Arts Management and her BA in Piano Performance and English.
Dr. Jerry Myers is the Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Music at St. Louis Community College at Meramec. Prior to his appointment at STLCC, he was on the faculty of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA for ten years. He also serves on the Executive Committee for the American International Choral Festival and is the 2-year college Repertoire & Standards Chair for the Southwest Division of the American Choral Directors Association. His choirs have performed in the prestigious venues of Austria, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, and Cuba.
Nick Ohlman has been a Kirkwood resident for 35 years. He currently works for the Kirkwood Parks Board 2003-2009 and was Vice President 2008-2009. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, with a BS Business Administration, Major, Accounting and Management. Other jobs include registrar, St. Louis Art Museum 1987-1999, curator, Museum of Transportation, St. Louis County Parks and Recreation. He and his wife, Kathy, have four children: Jennifer, Michael, Emily, and Allyssa.
Patty Rooney, PhD, Art History/Visual Culture Studies is an instructor at St. Louis Community College and an active member in the Visual Arts Consortium of greater St. Louis.
Paula Savarino, a native and life long resident of Kirkwood, has a degree in Art History and Design from St. Louis University and is presently employed at St. Louis Community College.
