Schedule for 2010

All concerts begin at 7 pm on Saturday evenings at the Lions amphitheater in Kirkwood Park.  They are free and open to the public, but donations are appreciated! 

The season kick-off concert is June 19 - Alvin Jett/Phat noiZ The Phat noiZ Blues Band delivers in-your-face, hard driving blues. The band performs its own unique style of original blues music as well as blues, R&B and rock standards.

July 3 - Gateway City Big Band The Gateway City Big Band is a 17-piece dance band with two vocalists that has been entertaining audiences in the St. Louis area and beyond since 1966. The band plays predominantly for charitable and civic events with many of the arrangements being the original big band charts.

July 17 - Brian Vaccaro Jazz Trio One of St. Louis’ own musically developed groups.  The trio will play hard bop style OGD trio jazz.

August 7 - The Air National Guard Band of the Central States This is a full strength, 35 piece military band attached to the 131st Fighter Wing, Missouri Air National Guard, 8th Air Force, located in St. Louis Missouri.  The band contains several elements including Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Brass Quintet and a Protocol Combo.

August 21 - Raven Moon  Raven Moon The musicians are true virtuosos of their acoustic craft.  They play everything from Blues, Celtic, Cajun, Country, Jazz to Rock and Roll.
